For a Battle of Trafalgar appearance, much more is known about Victory's Battle of Trafalgar appearance now than what was generally accepted when the kit was first molded.
For example, shipyard drawings cataloging the ship's battle damage tend to confirm that the admiral's entrance on the ship today was not present during the battle but a feature added later (Heller got this right). But what Heller did not capture were the protective bulwarks on the forecastle and poop deck where the Heller kit has just hammock netting.
Marijn van Gils is building an astonishing diorama of Victory during the battle in 1/300 scale and he has gone to extraordinary lengths to capture Victory's most likely appearance during the battle. Link:

Daniel Fisher is building more than one Victory from the Heller kit and adding loads of inspirational below-deck detail and other refinements. Link:

The National Museum of the Royal Navy conducted an extensive investigation to determine the actual colors of the ship during the battle. Their surprising findings and investigation techniques are described in the below video made available on Youtube. Most surprisingly to many, NMRN confirmed from forensic analysis of surviving paint remnants still on the ship that Victory did not have bright yellow stripes and trim during the battle.
Again, the Heller kit is a beauty right out of the box. It's also huge and has a lot of "Wow Factor".
Have fun!
