not much help, but build by Camper & Nicholson 1928
as Rion was given the pendant FY.024 when taken up 09.39 - ??.44
then as Noir till 'for disposal' 06.45
probably didn't get the HMS prefix, Trawlers got the prefix HMT

Besides what's online, anyone have any material on HMS RION/NOIR? Built as a yacht in 1928, she was acquired by the RN for WWII. Sold out of service to a number of owners, she was eventually given to Prince Rainier/Grace Kelly as a wedding gift by Onassis.
