To convert an early war KGV or PoW kit to 1943 DoY, you will need to replace your kit's round HACS Mk.IV (four) directors with a set of boxy HACS Mk.V (five) directors.
Good news, we offer a set of HACS Mk.V directors.
Howe was also commissioned with boxy HACS Mk.V directors.
Although Anson had HACS Mk.V directors at commission, these were replaced with radar-equipped HACS Mk.VI (six) directors during her 1944-1945 refit for British Pacific Fleet service.
We also offer a set of HACS Mk.VI directors.
The enlarged signal decks we offer for DoY and Anson are correct for 1945 British Pacific Fleet service. These were modifications made during their 1944-1945 refits. The enlarged signal decks provided space and support for a pair of Quadruple-gun PomPoms, one port and one starboard.
Note that DoY's and Anson's enlarged signal decks were shaped differently, unique to each ship.
Hope this helps.
