
This is an impressive kit that assembles well. The kit provides parts for apparently all Atlanta-class (CL 51-54) cruisers, 1942-45. Sorting through the huge numbers of kitted parts took me some time to select which I need for this specific model.
Some real-world structural parts are not called out in the kitted instruction booklet: triangular gussets underneath the 36in SL platform (although the booklet’s covers show them); the deckhouse under each forward 40mm gun mount platform (which also is misshapen and lacking access ladders); etc.
