Using the old Hobby Boss (?) kit, Model Monkey's conversion sets, and a bunch of Black Cat details. Laminated the decks with thinned Evergreen N scale car siding to match the planks on the MM 01 level superstructure. Filling in all those hull portholes. Starting to add bitts, fair-leads and deck hatches. WEM PE. Plans via MM a huge help. Not sure yet on the fit, leaning towards '43-'44 before the last refit, which will require small modifications of the MM parts. Long term project, so far, so good.
