Inflation I fear. I too bought a 2nd Bismarck kit but I'm going to use it for parts and to try to kitbash a perfectly good Dragon Tirpitz I recently obtained, which alas has some rubber parts. Tirpitz had so many different camo schemes it's hard to settle on one.

Many years ago, after building their Bismarck, I bought a second one with the intention of converting it to Tirpitz. With the right AM parts, some minor scratch-building, and references it could easily be done - unfortunately not started! Also noted that the new Tirpitz is some $25 more expensive than Bismarck when I bought it. Previous Message

They're releasing kits fast a furious. The Tirpitz has finally coming out with a Scheer promised shortly.
