Has this:
"The designs have different core combat systems to provide command and control, situational awareness, and self‑defense against anti-ship cruise missiles and surface
craft.
- LCS 1: COMBATSS-21, an Aegis-based integrated
combat weapons system with a TRS-3D (German)
air/surface search radar, Ship Self-Defense
System Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) system
(one 21-cell launcher), and a DORNA (Spanish)
Electro-Optical/Infrared for 57 mm gun fire control.
- LCS 2: Integrated combat management system (derived
from Dutch TACTICOS system) with a Swedish 3D
air/surface search radar (Sea Giraffe), one RAM (11-cell)
launcher integrated with the Close-In Weapons System
(Mk 15) search and fire control radars (called SeaRAM),
and Sea Star SAFIRE Electro-Optical/Infrared for 57 mm
gun fire control."
Both will now have COMBATSS-21. Also saves two separate contractors...formerly General Dynamics was getting money to maintain their system, and Lockheed was getting money to maintain theirs. (Note the dates on each of these..."not the latest news." Some things stated within then did not actually come to pass, or happen on the schedule stated.)

Yes, I am curious where they would add the components of the Lethality and Survivability Upgrade to the relatively small Freedom class!
For the same reason, I am curious how the Saudi Arabian ships will look like exactly - and if it will be possible to convert a Dragon kit to one. I am also considering to built an updated USN Freedom class.
I had not known that the Independence class had a different combat management system. Interesting.
