Hey there - I'm currently doing the twin set of the German torpedo boats by Flyhawk in 1/700. Jeeeez....how do they mold those tiny parts.....?

Dragon and CyberHobby 1/350 kits generally include this maze of ittybitty parts. Their armor was that way as well.
But the 45 Buchanan and CVL Independence are amazing with their realism.
I still have a FineMolds Amagiri [includes a plastic PT-109 boat] waiting.

I am in the midst of building the FineMolds Amagiri. I must say that molding is beautiful. The fit is mostly excellent. However I am struggling with parts that are so small that I have difficulty even seeing them. Between the tiny parts and the choice to make everything a multipart assembly (I.e. torpedo launchers 10 parts) the joy is being sucked out of the process. I know that the ittybitty parts crowd loves this kind of thing but I am now glad that this is the only kit I own from this company. There’s an saying that is applicable here: Just ‘cause you can don’t mean you should.
