Right behind the stereoscopic gun sight. It appears to have a dual rail for the hatch to slide open , but one must be an acrobat to get out of the turret to get onto the UP platform just above it.

I knew there was a hatch on top of the turret. I do not have access to my books, but here is a view of the top of a MM Hood turret which shows the hatch on top of the turret at the rear.
