I do appreciate you input and link (lots of good pictures I can use), Ralph. I guess the arresting wires are the only difference between CVN-76/77 and the rest of the Nimitz class, and the deck shape remain the same.

The basic hull is Nimitz. (That's why it is a class.) Both Reagan and Bush use only 3 arrestor wires instead of the earlier four. Otherwise, if you have acess to the parts you claim, it should be fairly straightforward. I don't know how easy installing a bulbous bow is, but it is certainly "possible." That comes down to individual skill.

I just spotted a 3D printed set of 1/700 USS Reagan (superstructure, mast, radar...). I wonder if it is possible to modify one of my Trumpeter's USS Nimitz Class and use Revell 1/720 CVN-76 Bulbous bow. Is CVN-76 deck shape different from CVN-68? I appreciate your input that will help to make up my mind if it is worth to proceed (the 3D printed set is quite expensive).
