They are expensive.
I have to say, I was a little disappointed. It wasn't as effective as I had hoped. The promo ads definitely exaggerate their ability.
That being said, I have found it extremely useful in certain situations. Especially where a delicate touch is needed.
For example, cutting supports off 3d resin printed parts. Excellent!
Or Cutting thin plastic or paper where a regular knife would do more damage if applying any pressure.
I am glad I got one.
Cheers!

Hello All,
To return to the subject of ultrasonic cutters, they seem to be fairly hard to find in the States, other than from Amazon and MicroMark. My local hobby shops can't get them anywhere.
Can anyone suggest what they have found to be the best buy in an ultrasonic cutter and where it was available? The one from MicroMark is very expensive compared to the ones on Amazon.
Thanks very much!
