I'm not a teenager and I've seen plenty of price increases in my lifetime and it AIN'T talking politics for its' own sake. A poster said it best today when they stated they are tired of US politics; so am I; but it gets rammed down my throat at every turn it seems. Americans living in the land of the 1st Amendment truly seem to have a problem with the real-world expression of that idea. If the rest of the planet needs to get over the tariffs (from the US POV) the the US needs to get over the rest of the planet voicing displeasure over same. Previous Message
My main complaint is that one cannot find a definative explanation of current expectations. What are the Tariff rates?, what are the procedures for operations/collections? So many of these post have been Political whining and bickering. Everyone here above a Teenager age group has been through Price increases, exchange rate changes, postal rate increases, political boycotts, Governmental Taxing schemes and the like- knows that prices tend to go up, and very rarely go down. So we judge what we can afford and dreanm about the rest. Gas ain't 25 cents a gallon anymore. Previous Message
.......I am rather surpised that many of the folks 'problem' with its removal is not so much the disruption but seems to be at having to pay / not wanting to pay the tax. I mean, really? Had it too good for too long it seems.
And how the intstigators of said new tax / tarrif didnt / doesnt think all the eventually costs to the sender will not be passed on to the American consumer sure beats me.
