It took me a while to notice that the CMV-(& CV-)22 are flaps down, and I also forgot to mention it below. Glad you covered that here. Oddly, while those two both have flaps down, the VTOL F-35B version does not have flaps down, nor the tail surfaces drooped. It has the rotated down nozzel, and every other feature of the plane in vertical mode but those. It still looks good next to photos of the real thing, but I find the lack of this detail particularly odd when set against the feature appearing on his Ospreys.
Oh, well. I am still a very happy camper with these. I also hope the range expands. It is currently a shadow of what was available from Shapeways, and with both better prices and quantities (I like being able to order only two planes, not five at a time, or mixes with types I don't want) I can see myself ordering a lot more from him now that he's with 3DP Train.
Thank you for your review! Previous Message
Thanks to Ralph for introducing 3DP Train. I received my 1/700 CMV-22 and THAAD today. They are nicely done. CMV-22 wing seems narrow but it presents as flap down mode. The quality of THAAD launcher is equivalent to original Shapeways'. Hope 3DP Train can expand to more Snafu and Classic Airship items.
