The BRITANNIC Jay is referring to is the sistership of TITANIC. The BRITANNIC you are referring to is the one built in 1930 and was scrapped in 1960. The MAURETANIA you sailed on was the second one, built in 1939 and scrapped in 1965. The MAURETANIA (I) Jay refers to was built in 1907 and was the sistership of the ill-fated LUSITANIA.
