Not sure but I think SS Models is behind the 3D printed kit that many other Chinese sellers offer. I have one and it has a lot of railings which is part of why I bought it. I can no longer do PE. They are a challenge to separate from the print supports and I messed up some of them. I am trying to fit it on a Classic Warships resin hull. I think the hull from the Waveline/Hi-Mold would work fine. (Didn't that kit, just like the Classic Warship kit, use white metal parts which are not up to even current plastic standards?) The 3D printed hull is only slightly warped. One of the problems with SS Models's 3D hulls is the difficulty in sanding them without destroying the fragile railings. Same with the bottoms of the superstructure and stack.

I believe this 3D product came from the World of Warships game and did not cost SS Models anything to obtain the print files. Anyway the really strange aspect is the casement guns. The forward ones look great but for some reason they decided to not include the after part (which has the breech block etc) of the gun on the rear two guns. As a result they look terrible. Only someone that knows nothing about warships, much less ever built any models, could ever put out a product with this kind of a flaw. I may end up just just using the tripod masts, fighting tops and the stack and related railings. One can make any mfg's kit better looking by using the various 3D parts if one is willing to pay the high price for this entire kit. Oh, and forget about instructions. But I am optimistic that I can fit the superstructure, stack, masts and fighting tops from the 3D printed kit and add 3D printed AA guns from other providers to come up with a reasonable outcome.........if you don't look to closely at the aft two casement guns. And can afford the considerable extra cost.
