There is a photo of her Swordfish in my book taken in early 1940. The photo you have found in mid 1940 confirms that no individual aircraft code was carried in the summer of 1940 so no code at Narvik either.

The photo of HMS Warspite was used as a illustration of Alexandria for the Auchinleck article. For some reason, they seem to have closed the article to non-subscribers. I tried to find the photo on Reversee, but, apparently, there is no copy of the photo in circulation. I'd post my email address, but I have had trouble doing this on public sites. I am not a subscriber to the magazine so now I am locked out.
