Charles formerly CNC models built a 1/96 model in 2022, I did one in 2023. Both are wrong because of changes the Navy made to the ships. Charles based his on the SEA/Land/Air /builders' model exhibit 2021, I based mine on the 2022 version.
Checking on the progress of the ship, they still haven't finalized the design.
Which is why I'm sitting on a pattern for the USS Arizona SSN-803 in 1/350 scale. The publicly available info for the placement of the VPM is incorrect, according to someone who has actual info on its placement, and the LAA aft of the sail has additional details added to it. Also, there are items that have been removed from the hull, and changes to the sail details that were not implemented. The Hobby Boss Virginia is completely wrong due to it hurried release, but it's a $15 kit, which means a correct model isn't going to be found. Good luck with the premature releases.
