The Tamiya kit largely represents INDY after her last refit and was on her final mission. Even so, some modifications necessary to put in the correct representation. Several years ago, there was a detailed article on the needed changes. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the reference, but perhaps someone out there can. Previous Message Previous Message
I am currently building the 1/700 Tamiya kit of the USS Indianapolis CA-35 and made notice that yesterday, exactly 80 years ago, it was torpedoed and sunk by the japanese submarine I-58.
