I found out about it in May. Unfortunately, that was when the tariff stuff had just broken out. I did not know what shipping, or additional fees would add. So, I went with a cheaper alternative in the Mach 2 offering. (That only works if you happen to get a kit with the minimum of several flaws normally found in that kit, including tons of flash, missing parts, short-shotted parts, a sagging stern, holes in the hull, etc. ! ) I lucked out. Only a couple minor issues with the one I got, and the price was cheaper, even with shipping. Only go for one if you like gambling and risk.

So, I will not be going for this item, but it does look like it will be a decent kit. It is an injection molded hull, but most of the other parts will be 3D, plus it has some PE. Finally, a nice 1/72 PBR kit, that looks complete. (Found some resin offerings that looked like just basic hulls and uppers, with details you'd have to come up with yourself.) This should blow the doors off the old Mach 2 offering!
