I'm currently building their HMS Undine kit but it seems that Mirage really messed up on this one. The Undine never mounted a deck gun, among other other errors. I'm hoping to build her as the HMS Ursula which at least carried a deck gun. Unfortunately, my sources on these ships are limited so I'm wondering when the Ursula would have carried the aerials that stretch along the top of the conning tower...and when other ships of her class were equipped with them? I have seen images of the Ursula with and without it, but few are dated.
Ideally, I would like to portray her in the North Atlantic 1939-40. I'm also hoping to do a later build of a second group sub of this class, and would prefer that there be as many differences as possible between these 2. All suggestions are welcome.
