They are looking at the Quincy now. Earlier in the day there was some drama as one of there ROVs caught a large rope line well away from the wreck. They were able to extricate it, but upon surveying the starboard 5”/25 mounts, one of them had a similar heavy rope line/cable wrapped around the barrel, which extended up and beyond the bridge structure and they believe beyond. Dr. Robert Ballard, who is aboard this survey expedition as lead scientist, and who discovered the wreck in 1992, said that line was not there and does not “jive” with what he saw 33 years ago. Hmmm.
