I found the seller profile page to be old/not updated. Elsewhere on the 3DP Train site is a listing of all aircraft (from all their affiliated manufacturers) available, and the one I was awaiting...the F-35B VTOL...is now available. So, my order just went in. Not expected until July. Will post my own update as well, then. (In a new thread.) Previous Message
Hi Ralph, I hope the quality is as good as Shapeways. I ordered many 1/700 planes and vehicles from both Snafu and Classic Airship before. I will let you know after receive the package from 3dtrain. Previous Message
I hope they are good. Please let us know what you think of them. I will be particularly interested, since I am planning my own purchase in the near future, "and all."
Thank you. Previous Message
Hi Ralph, I went through 3dtrain site and to my surprise, I found 1/700 vehicles from Classic Airships, THAAD. I also ordered a lot of 1/700 vehicles from this site. Hope to see more designs from this site. I will order a few just to see if they are with the same quality as Shapeways. Previous Message
Back when the Magic Factory Ford came out, one of your conversations here involved wanting a CMV-22 COD version of the Osprey. I showed you images, and we concluded with you indicating you would try scratch building.
Well, if you're still interested, I found some printed CMV-22s.
SNAFU Store is another popular former Shapeways shop who specialized in 1/700 aircraft of all sorts. (Bill Oreto, who posted here often until the politics got to him, loved his items.) I got three different helicopter types from him, and was generally satisfied. Like the others, he shut down when Shapeways did.
He came back with a new print company quite some months ago. I had found him back up and running, but his listings were very few. Bill then found him running a short time later, and posted his return here. His listings were still not numerous, but I bookmarked him, and occasionally check up on his progress.
Noticed tonight that he has CMV-22s, now. SNAFU Store is now with an outfit called 3DP Train...a mainly train shop, but they still took him in, and print his items now. The prices are low compared to his Shapeways offerings, but those were often sold as "multiples"...more than one aircraft per order...often five, or so. Now, they are priced and offered "by the plane." I have not bought from him since he moved to this printer, so no idea how his products compare, and he only shows CAD images, not actual product. (I suspect, at least as good, and possibly better.)
Here's his CMV-22 listing:

And here's the entire shop:

I am considering getting some myself, but am mainly interested in his upcoming F-35B VSTOL versions. I might well then wait until I can assemble an order all together.
FWIW, HTH
