Thanks for bringing this up. I recall about 30yrs or so ago that when HMS Campbeltown made a port visit and was open for tour and that it had a car on it. LandRover. I brought this up for discussion and it seems that depending on the size of the warship it would have one of these on board. How many navies do this, don't know. But possiblity it could be common.
