Correct. Sad reality, the United States has let its manufacturing base decay to the point where we cannot build ships, or other munitions for that matter. We should all be concerned about the implications of this situation to the standard of living in the United States.

THERE HAS BEEN ANNEWS ITEM THET THE USCG is in talks with FINLAND for up to 5 icebreakers, presumably for delivery in less than the 7-10 years for the already 8 year old uscg project to be us built!
