At some point, about late 1945 or 1946, photos clearly indicate that the two Mk.8 radar antennas were replaced with Mk.13 radar antennas. The Mk.13 antennas in 1946 photos have a smooth, solid airfoil-shaped cover with no recesses.
We offer the correct post-war antenna as an option.
The ship as she appears today as a museum ship, has the Mk.13 airfoil-shaped covers. However, the covers today appear to be sheet metal reproductions and may not be original to the ship.
