Interesting observation! Over the years I've seen some vendors who seem to offer items (not just ship-models - other things too!) with a markedly lower sale price than other competitors, but then their shipping estimates are very high - the result being that the total cost is quite close.
I think patience is key here - let's see what the actual tariff regime is and how it's applied, then what the vendors and shipping groups do in response, because it seems to be an evolving situation at the moment.
