Congratulations on your Victory (pun intended)! I've always admired those ship modelers who have the patience and skill to apply all that rigging, with or without sails, and the fine painting needed for such models (often made from wood, at this scale). I built several such models as a teenager and young man, but my last job was a repair of a neighbor's yard-long, sadly neglected antique Spanish galleon (that had been in their family for decades). They were overjoyed at the results (I even hand-sewed a Spanish naval flag) and insisted on paying me for my troubles. I didn't really expect that, so I just said, "OK, how about $50?" They were delighted to pay it. Bear in mind, this was the early 1970s, way before rampant inflation. After that, a long (35 years +) wait to get back into ship modeling, and I've never looked back.

I've just finished this model. It only took me about 16 -18 months of effort to get it done. I did have to stop a couple times to take care of other things, so that build was spread over 25 months.
It was a good project, but I think one was enough :^).
And I don't have room for another such behemoth.
All the best from Hot & Humid Malolos, David
