The Olympia today if visited is different from restoration in that the main deck of teak wood was replace with concrete.
Then removed and replaced by
2by4's wood and covered by a gray rubber. Tourists are now not allowed to walk the main deck
when visiting, it's all below deck.

Also the area has changed. The City of Philadelphia
has invested alot of money to improve the Penn's Landing area. With new apartment buildings,business buildings,and a long the Delaware River (Penn'sLanding area )a series of 2 story tall walkways with gardens and sidewalks for jogging are being built. The Olympia is owned by the Independence Seaport Museum and they had 3 parking lots. 2 have been removed by the changes.
