The Battleship Texas Foundation has announced that an agreement has been reached with the Wharfs Board. The Texas will be moored at Pier 15 on the Galveston. This is between the Royal Caribbean dock and the Carnival dock. There is a warehouse there as well as cruise patron parking.

It is about 3 to 5 blocks from the Pier 21 location that caused the kerfluffle with the restaurant whose view of the harbor would be obstructed.

I think they are still looking at a ‘26 opening, but tours of the ship at the shipyard are now being offered.
