Years ago Nichimo issued one of these in their '30cm' range. I have seen photos but never handled one.

This NEW JERSEY conversion design clearly brings to mind the ISE and HYUGA conversions by Japan in WW2. In fact, the resemblance is striking. However, both conversions were doomed to failure. The IOWA Class BBs continued their distinguished careers in the Gulf War without the proposed conversion.

I just completed a 3D model using the 1980 USN plans to turn the USS New Jersey into a Battle Carrier.
I can print these in 1/2400 and 1/1250 scales using my printers or if you want I can also print upto 1/700 scale using shapeways White Nylon material.
