Depends on time and vessel.
01 and 02 never received VLS, 03-06 did.
Mini-Typhoon was fitted for deployments.
The later hulls eventually received a starboard boat deck to match the one in port waist.
Comms and sensors evolved.
Check the Aus War Memorial and the Aus Def Force image libraries for really helpful detail shots with dates, locations etc.
Also, it might be that only Melbourne received the haze gray.
