The Sea Harrier was retired in 2006 and the Harrier in 2011. By that time, Invincible had already been decommissioned (in 2005) and Ark Royal was decommissioned in 2011. Thus, the only Invincible class carrier left was Illustrious. From 2011 on, she was used as a helicopter carrier. Her air group at one point also included AH-64 Apaches from 656 Squadron Army Air Corp. She also operated Commando helicopters, as well as Army Lynxes.

When the RN retired the Harrier and then replaced them with AH-64 Helicopters on the Invincible class.
Were these RN helicopters or were they
RAF or British Army Air Corp. Anyone know?
