I sympathise but your question was very wide ranging covering five ships with various different paint schemes at different times. If you were to narrow it down to one ship at a time and one particular paint scheme someone might be able to offer some suggestions.

I try to gather some info about the real colors to be used with the recent and forthcoming Trumpeter RN light cruisers:
Calcutta, Colombo, Naiad, Argonaut and Scylla.
The painting guides are absolutely useless so I am looking for some RN expert's advice.
