Well, with a name like OKB Grigorov, I had always thought he was a Russian outfit. And his early offerings that were in my collection's era--like his Los Angeles class--were cheaper and more readily available (if maybe not as accurate) in plastic. When I saw he had a Block III Virginia, I looked, but did not feel I needed to spend that kind of money just to get a Block III. Other things had priority for me.

Then came the Ukrainian thing, and I am not looking to buy "Russian" stuff, with trade there difficult in any case.

However...not too long ago, I looked him back up for the heck of it, out of boredom. Seems he's a Bulgarian outfit. He has a website I can buy directly from, and he has upgraded his Block III Virginia with a new kit which can be built with the missile tubes open. That might make it worth buying. Plus, I no longer really have any other priorities.

So, it's under consideration. I looked over his other offerings. None particularly "grab" me, but at least I now have corrected my misconceptions about him, and realize he's "accessible."
