If you scroll down somewhere in the last few weeks we discussed white glue. It drys clear. I put a drop out and wait until thickens then apply. It holds to resin and mold injected models. I even use it for minor seam filling. I use it on everybody’s 3D parts. I stress “minor” parts . I do not buy 3D printed ship models so I can not say how well it will work like gluing hulls together.
Most 3D parts are coming from reputable manufacturers not like the old days of Shapeways. Still be careful when buying Yao. They are hit or miss. Previous Message
I purchased some Bunker Studio parts for my 1/200 Bismarck. When attaching the 3D printed chocks to the deck, for some reason, the super glue had a hard time getting to stick the parts together. After the third or so attempt, the parts were glued together. Now, I didn't wash the parts as I am led to believe that is not required. Will wash the next time and see what happens. Has anybody else ran into this issue? Any replies welcomed, Jon
