The mentioned book has color plates one of the minesweeper Jaskolka in 1939 it appears to be neutral gray .
And at the bow on each side is the 1st letter of the ships name.

Hi:

Thanks.. to be more precise I was looking for ideas of what ORP colors I could use for their ships in September 1939... once their ships fled to the UK I know they used RN colors.

I may be wrong about the LifeColor Soviet fleet colors but I'm hoping to see what you guys are using for Soviet ships from 1941-45.
Same goes for those ships that remained under the control of Vichy France.

FYI I have all the Lifecolor WWII Naval sets.
