Hi:

What are your preferred paint go-to's for ships from these navies for the indicated periods?

Note: I live in Canada so Color Coats are not a viable option.
Would the LifeColor Soviet Navy post 1945 set be a good source for their WWII counterparts?
I'm assuming that the ORP ships post 1939 & Free French ships would have used colors provided by the RN & USN. Is this a valid assumption?
