It seems the designer SNAFU has resurrected from Shapeways, working with a 3D print shop called 3Dp Train. I gather they specialize in the hobby of Narrow Gauge Trains and modeling..

SNAFU is offering some aircraft and helos in 1/700. Nowhere near what he used to offer on Shapeways. Do not know the story . There does not appear to be contact information for him on the website nor do I know the quality of print. Just stumbled across him. What I can say his offerings crossed the spectrum from helos to bi-planes , from tracked vehicles to wheeled vehicles.

Unfortunately Shapeways printing of his designs was pretty awful and he had to down dial the detail of many of his offerings as Shapeways prices increased.
