Not just aircraft handling, but also SPY, NGSSR, networking, etc. and you'll see a lot of capability available in these Flight I Americas beyond just getting Marines ashore. Given the emerging threat environment, getting the Marines to the jumping off point may mean sea control is going to be a bigger part of the problem which may be the point of the Navy building this added capability into these ships and other elements of the amphibious fleet like the flight II San Antonios.
