Will these paints be any good for brush painting?

A few weeks ago there was a thread here asking about the status of Jeff Herne's Scale Colors website and line of paints.
I knew at the time that Squadron had been working with Jeff to obtain the paint line as well as the line of 3D printed tank treads. Brandon@Squadron had shared the information with me and several others and had asked for confidentiality, I stood mute on the thread.
Yesterday Squadron announced the new line of Squadron Scale Colors paints. This youtube is last evening's Squadron Live program with all of the gory details

Fast forward through the first few minutes of greetings and housekeeping. Jeff joins the program sitting next to Brandon. A few of the points covered:
* it is the same paint chemistry/same manufacturer
* Jeff will continue as a consultant
* packaging, inventory, and shipping will be done by Squadron
* it will be sold in Vallejo-like dropper bottles
* there are about 120 colors ready now with plans to grow the line to 180+
* metallics are tough to make, there are plans to add them in the future
* optimized for airbrushing
* semigloss finish to eliminate one of the potential finishing steps
* information & availability about the paints is on the Squadron site now. An expanded version of the old Scale Colors website will be hosted by Squadron and have more info such as particular platform colors used, etc
I'm excited about this. I've used Scale Colors for 4 to 5 years and have had problems getting them outside of the IPMS Nats. They will be more readily available. I have already sent my order in to backfill by stash
