Yes, definitely Rossia (1896), one of the Russian Imperial Navy's 'Big 3' of the late 1890s (Rurik, Rossia, and Gromoboi). Intended to be a sister to Rurik, she was redesigned to be better protected and faster, resulting in a larger vessel. Her intended sister Gromoboi, was herself slightly larger, faster, and had a different machinery arrangement. The Gromoboi had a more pronounced ram stem, and double decker casemates for her 6" battery. Rossia did not, which makes them easy to distinguish,
I am curious where the owner of this model obtained it. It appears to be an original builder's or presentation model consistent of that period (white lead bottom, brass rings for portholes, etc.). It is in excellent condition and very well done. A true prized model for one's collection.
All the best,
Bil
