I've used CA glue for most adhesions, including hull sections; Gorilla glue works very well but usually takes overnight to fully set and the parts must be held in place during this time. Unless the parts to be glued together show evidence of moisture or incomplete resin setting, washing them prior to gluing has not been necessary for me. The yellow Elmer's glue works very well but, unlike white Elmer's glue, will not wash off with water when dry. I have found this yellow glue to be remarkably versatile, even when bonding masonry!

Superglue clearly works on these parts but I wonder what the best way to join segmented hull sections together. Superglue joints seem too "brittle" to be a lasting joint. Advice desired.
Also, I would guess the parts need to be washed. Should I use dish soap or something more exotic?
I have a 1/350 scale HMS Iron Duke to build. It looks great.
