3D Printed parts and whole models. What glue for what job???

Superglue clearly works on these parts but I wonder what the best way to join segmented hull sections together. Superglue joints seem too "brittle" to be a lasting joint. Advice desired. Also, I would guess the parts need to be washed. Should I use dish soap or something more exotic? I have a 1/350 scale HMS Iron Duke to build. It looks great.
