You might be able to find some details off the WEM Town class cruisers set or check the Atlantic Models website. Peter may have some sets that have components that work for the kit. I have it that one too so appreciate the heads up on the kit's photoetch.

I am working on this kit, like all Trumpeter kits their are minor inaccuracies, but my difficulty
Is with their small parts photoetch, which is incredibly thin and hard to assemble without it falling apart. The mast aerials, yardarms on both māsts and air warning radar on the mainmast are prime examples.
Are there any aftermarket alternatives?
