German frigate Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2023 in Kiel

The class is in the process of modernisation (should get new computers, command system, radars etc.). The photos were made before that modernisation. Compared to the fit when new, there were already a lot of differences, e.g. Harpoon (instead of Exocet), 2.7 cm guns, MASS decoy launchers, RHIB, closed hull below the helicopter deck...

NNT plans to re-release their 1/700 kit.
