elevator on the CVB was heavy timber . Not wood underneath either. Later variants had #1 elevator CL steel deck and not sure at this time of the #3 elevator was also timber. Dont have direct access to to my photos at this time and I cant post any here. Perhaps I have over used the deck blue "stain"... Anti skid was in a dark blue/black weathered color ..... I am NOT expert here but i have pored over zillions of photos,
