Very well informed, I assure you!
You should inform yourself at least a bit about the war in Yemen!
Saudi Arabia attacked the Houthi already in 2015. Its fighting there are very brutal war (no self-imposed restrictions there).
The western powers - not only the US - are not there, because Saudi-Arabia asked them to do so.
The western powers are there, because Western shipping was attacked by the Houthis. That is something happening in parallel. And is very likely that it will stay a mess after the end of the Western intervention (as e.g. in Afghanistan and Somalia).
By the way: a lot of European powers were asked by the US to support the US in Afghanistan and in Iraq - both wars were started by the US and caused a huge mess, e.g. the funding of Daesh (IS) from the remains of the Iraqi army (in US occupied Iraq!) and a large refugee movement from Afghanistan and Iraq to Europe. That was the mess George W. Bush was responsible for.
The last time the US did fight with its own troops in Europe was in Bosnia and Yugoslavia in 1995 and 1999.
In regard of Ukraine: in 1994, the United States gave the Ukraine security assurances when Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons (Budapest Memorandum). The United States guaranteed they would help Ukraine in case they will be attacked. There were three nuclear powers signing that agreement: USA, UK and Russia. Russia attacked in 2014 and 2022 Ukraine. The USA and UK had guaranteed to help Ukraine. It was not the European Union or any other European power who signed that. Now a lot of European states spend a lot to help Ukraine, in that sense helping again the USA. At least most EU governments do that for obvious reasons - to help to Ukraine to defend itself against Russian aggression. The exception is e.g. the Trump fan Victor Orban in Hungary, he is supporting Putin.
