As a Coast Guard retiree on Medicare, I was reassured to read that Tricare For Life support will not be affected by any such costs (so far; I assume it would take an act of Congress to changed this, amid much expected blowback). Just reinforces my belief that enlisting in the USCGR in 1972, and remaining in it for over 20 years, was one of the best decisions of my life.

Up from $726. Health care costs are rising. My FEHB costs go up comparably, but since I am a postal retiree, I am being switched to a new postal plan. It then goes up even more. Welcome to the wonderful world of insurance. My sympathies.
