030 is still a bit thin for larger sections, it will flex and warp over time.
I use 040 or 060, with plenty of reinforcements inside on larger sections.

I am wondering when scratch building a ship's superstructure in 1/96 scale. Should you use 0.30 or 0.40 plastic sheet?
