I see no mention. Wouldn't loss of revenue from Suez canal transits severely hurt Egypt's economy, not to mention the prestige it is afforded for hosting and maintaining one of the two most important commercial shipping thoroughfare's in the world?
Look back at the disruption caused to both by the Ever Given grounding in 2021 and its cost.
The Red Sea pirates and aggressors should be tackled by people closer to home. Saudi Arabia and Egypt should step up.
